Per the applicant, poles will go up for the main wellness center building and storage building and the northern office building (closest to mobile home park). No poles will go up for the communication building.

The Planning Commission site visit for the Big Wave Office Park and Wellness Center Project originally scheduled for March 8, 2010, has been canceled.  At the time of the scheduling of the March 10, 2010 public hearing date, a Planning Commission site visit was also scheduled for March 8, 2010 for the purpose of having Planning Commissioners view the story poles.  The story poles would be installed in compliance with the County’s requirement that they be constructed 10 days prior to the hearing date.  


Due to a delay in the preparation of the Final EIR for the project, the Planning Commission public hearing has been postponed to a date uncertain.  The applicant has stated that they will construct the story poles a minimum of 10 days prior to the Planning Commission hearing date once it is scheduled.  At that time, Staff will work with the Planning Commissioners to set a new date for a site visit.
